Fairfax Firefighters Fill the Boot for MDA

Every year over the Labor Day Weekend, Fairfax County Firefighters “Fill the Boot” for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). The IAFF has partnered with MDA since 1954, raising millions of dollars over the years. Your very own Fairfax Firefighters have lead the way for may years thanks to your generosity during the collections.

While we seek a new normal following COVID, our campaign coordinator Joel Kobersteen and IAFF Local 2068 worked hard to with numerous agencies and volunteers to help make this years Fill the Boot a success.

This year we were able to collect over $187,000 thanks to the citizens and visitors to Fairfax County during the campaign weekend. If you missed us and would like to donate, use the link below to help “Fill the Boot” through the end of 2023.
